Great White North Pottery — Open House

Stop by to test your hand at pottery, listen to live music, walk through a maker's market, and more in this one day family oriented experience.

The first open house in 2022 was the official opening of Great White North Pottery Studio and Supplies, as GWN had only operated as a small supplier with no public access before moving into a warehouse space on Kelly Lake Road, beside Crosscut Distillery. This open house signified the beginning of a community, with the goal to introduce the city to the new space.

The next year, in 2023, we wanted to keep the momentum going and open the invitation into our home, and our budding creative space. The Open House gave us the opportunity to welcome anyone and everyone to check out all we had to offer, ask us questions face to face and get hands-on experience with clay. We were able to introduce people to the idea of pottery lessons, workshops, rental space and the membership community while providing a fun filled day to the Sudbury+ community.
